The image on the postcard depicts the wonders of early 20th-century Ottoman technology in Edirne, such as flying cars, balloons (Tatar: һава), a fleet of airships (Tatar: һава флуты), steamships, and a railway line with a telegraph next to it. Explanatory inscriptions are provided in the Tatar language next to each item. The names of streets and mosques, including the Selimiye Mosque, Eski Jami Mosque, and Sultan Bayezid Mosque (built by the renowned architect Sinan between 1569 and 1575), are also indicated.
