Batyr. Traditional Military Culture of the Peoples of Eurasia 2013-2015 № 6

Batyr is the first exclusively scientific journal dedicated to the Eurasian military and historical issues. The journal explores the traditional military culture that has developed in the region from Central Europe to East Asia, including Scandinavia, Siberia, Egypt, Hindustan, and the Malay Archipelago. This period spans from ancient times, when military traditions were just beginning to form, to the modern era, when traditional military practices (following the transition of traditional societies) have been increasingly replaced by a unified modern military system that emerged in Western Europe during the 17th century.
