Glare on the Carpet. Carpets and Paintings by Valery Sakhatov. Exhibition catalogue

The publication accompanies the exhibition of works by Valery Sakhatov, a Moscow-based artist, which was organized with the support of the Mardjani Foundation. The book includes two articles about the work of Valery Sakhatov and 90 pieces created by the artist between 2009 and 2013. These works include hand-made pile carpets made by Turkmen craftsmen based on his designs, paintings from a series of carpets, portraits, and palettes. Only a selection of the works featured in the catalogue was included in the exhibition.
