The first issue of the literary and philosophical journal "Rosary" ("Chetki") features works by contemporary authors on the East and Islam, classical literary monuments of the East, previously unpublished short stories and poems, critical reviews, and interviews with writers. This edition of the journal includes Sergey Stratanovsky's short story "Mount Sary-Tau", an excerpt from the novel "The Spot", written by Alexei Tsvetkov Jr., poems from various years by Ravil Bukharaev, a lesser-known translation of "Poem in Prose" by Gibran Khalil Gibran, a poem by Amir ar-Rayhani, poems in the Tatar language by Kazan poetess Dilara Suleymanova, and a story by Renat Bekkin titled "Apple Wahhabi." Additionally, the translation of the longest Russian Turkologist and scholar of Islam Nikolai Ostroumov's work from the Sartan folk epic "Adventures of Tsarevich Sanaubar" is published for the first time.
