The catalogue for the exhibition titled "The Golden Horde and the Black Sea Region. Lessons of the Genghisid Empire" provides an introduction to the equestrian and urban cultures of the Mongol nomads during the period of the unified empire of Genghis Khan. It features vessels crafted from gold and silver used for feasts, as well as jewelry, textiles, and other artistic crafts. A significant portion of the publication, and the exhibition itself, focuses on architectural decorations and examples of Buddhist paintings from the Turkic-Mongol East.
