Midat Mukhametov. The Melody of Stones

This publication is not intended to be a complete or exhaustive retrospective of the work of Midat Mukhametov, but it does present a fairly comprehensive and extensive overview of his work. It includes the artist's best works, as well as his experiments with different styles and techniques.

The selection of illustrations allows us to trace the development of the artist's style from his early works, created during his studies at the Ufa College of Art, to his more recent paintings from the current decade.

The catalogue compilers have managed to create a diverse and representative collection of reproductions that covers the entirety of Mukhametov's oeuvre. The catalog is not organized chronologically, but rather in separate sections based on different techniques.. The reader has the opportunity to fully appreciate Midat Mukhametov's realistic work in the form of portraits and selected landscape pieces, as well as to gain a more detailed understanding of his abstract paintings and several graphic works.
