Children of the Gods: Ancient Heroes in Ancient and Modern Art

The exhibition catalogue of the exhibition “Children of the Gods: Ancient Heroes in Ancient and Modern Art” held from September 22, 2009 to March 28, 2010 at the Hermitage-Kazan Center of the State Historical-Architectural and Art Museum-Reserve "Kazan Kremlin". The exhibition covered a time period from the 7th century BC to the present day and included approximately two hundred exhibits that embodied various aspects of ideas about heroes from ancient Greek mythology, epics, and cults.
