Sarah Oghuz Nazirova. Selected Works

This is a selection of work, both fiction and non-fiction, by Azerbaijani author and art critic Sara Oghuz Nazirova. The volume includes seven novellas, eleven short stories, one play, film scripts and articles about Azerbaijani history and culture. All the works were originally published in Azerbaijani between 1978 and 2009 and have been translated into English by a number of translators, who are credited on the Contents page. While each piece stands alone, taken as a whole the selected works give a fascinating insight into life in Azerbaijan.
