The second expanded and enlarged edition by the Russian Islamic scholar, R.I. Bekkin, examines not only the theoretical constructs, but also the experience of implementing the Islamic economic model in various countries, primarily in those where the financial system is based on the legal norms of Islam.
In addition, special attention is paid to those countries whose experience has not been adequately explored in Russian literature, such as Turkey.
Furthermore, the book challenges the notion that there is no viable alternative to the current global financial system by making significant revisions to this idea.
