Mardjani Foundation
Reading of Forugh Farrokhzad's poetry in Persian and sound performance as part of a series of meetings dedicated to Forugh Farrokhzad's book "The Second Birth".
The texts of Forugh's poems from the book "Second Birth" will be read in Persian, with their Russian translations projected on the screen, allowing viewers to simultaneously follow the text and listen to its original pronunciation.
This reading will be accompanied by a musical performance by the musician Maiwand Kasem Dada, which will be based on the rhythm and tone of Forugh's poetry.

The events are held with the support of the State Museum of Oriental Art, the Mardjani Foundation, the Institute for Oriental and Classical Studies at HSE University, and the HSE Master's Programme "Muslim Worlds in Russia".
